Desert Trails Boarding welcomes present clients and clients to be and is staffed from 5:00 am until 7:00 pm to take care of your furry friends while you are away. You can drop off as early as 7:30 am and pick up as late as
6:30 pm. Pick up and drop off hours on Saturdays are 8:00 am and 2:30 pm. Remember we close every Thursday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for continuing education.

• All pets must be current on vaccinations. Home vaccinations
  are not accepted. Those without proof or are overdue will be vaccinated at regular fees. By law we are required to perform a full exam when vaccines are given. Regular exam fee applies. ($50.18)

• All cats and dogs will be given a dose of Frontline Plus (a topical flea and tick preventative) prior to boarding ($10.71) unless proof of home application can be provided. This one time application lasts for 30 days.

• Check in/Check out: Monday 7:30am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday-Friday 7:30am to 6:30 pm and Saturday 8am to 2:30pm. We are closed on Thursdays from 12pm to 2pm for weekly continuing education. We are not open for Check in/Check out on Sundays or major holidays.

• If your pet is new to our facility and requires vaccinations one of our veterinarians will give your pet a full exam ($50.18) to establish their health. If your pet is current on vaccinations, one of our veterinarians will give your pet a limited exam ($36.37).

• Owners are encouraged to bring their pets regular food packaged as individual servings. Desert Trails provides Purina ProPlan formula at
  no additional charge if otherwise not provided. Desert Trails has lots of fluffy beds and fun toys to play with, so please leave your pets belongings at home.  If you have a special bed or toy that you feel would make your pet more comfortable during their stay, it will be provided only during sleeping times.  Please be sure to clearly mark their name on it.  We will not be responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

• Medications must include directions and will be administered at no charge.

• Each pet is exercised several times a day (this includes cats too). If
  your dog is good with other dogs, they can participate in Doggy Daycare free of charge.

• A complimentary/optional massaging hydrosurge bath will be given to all dogs that board with us. If additional grooming services are desired, please check availability with our in-house groomer.

• Pets staying over 21 days will receive a 20% discount in boarding charges.

• Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork at check in.

Pets weighing more than 35 lbs are required to stay in either a standard run or luxury suite. Our kennels are intended to accommodate smaller animals. This requirement is to ensure a comfortable stay for your pet.
