Interesting Case #1
What can a dog eat?
For those of us with dogs, we know how difficult it can be to keep their noses out of places they don?t belong. For those of us with Labs, this challenge can be even tougher!  ?Payson? (the name has been changed to protect the not-so-innocent!), is no exception. The delicious smell of fresh baked brownies was just too much for Payson, who proceeded to knock the brownie pan off the top of the refrigerator and eat the brownies. The problem was, he decided to eat the broken Pyrex dish as well! We took Payson to surgery to remove the glass fragments. Amazingly, his stomach looked to be in good shape and the surgery was a complete success. He stayed with us in the hospital on IV fluids to help flush out the toxins from the chocolate and he made a complete recovery. He was back to his old tricks in no time!

Glass fragments in the stomach

After surgery, no glass!
